When I was just a little girl, I discovered the passion of cooking by helping my mother in the kitchen. Her love of cooking inspired me. There, my mother taught me that using solid techniques and the finest ingredients helped to make even a simple meal wonderful. She taught me how to truly taste the food I made and to pay attention to the smallest details. Most importantly, she taught me that passion is the only ingredient that can make a meal truly great.

Since then I have worked with some very talented people in some of the best kitchens in Dallas and Houston. But cooking in a restaurant just doesn’t allow for the passion to flow out to each and every meal. I wanted to please people more ways than just one way. My service is very client specific, unlike the restaurant industry.

I then worked in Corporate America, however my passion for cooking never faded. Urged on by co-workers, who had tasted my cooking, I investigated many avenues of the culinary world. I then learned about personal chefs. I found that this way of cooking professionally could allow me to be passionate about food again by cooking for one client at a time. I am professionally trained by the American Personal Chef Institute, and have been an active member since July 2000. For serious inquirers, references are available upon request.

A personal chef service is not “just for the rich & famous anymore”. My clients come from many backgrounds: busy professionals, singles, senior citizens, new parents, and families with hectic lifestyles. In this world of long work hours & busy schedules, a personal chef is just what’s on the menu. I provide a more simple answer to people who are busy, stressed out, in need of more quality time, but want to eat healthy, preservative-free food. Being freshly prepared in the safety of your own home gives you more free time to enjoy your life! I prepare a variety of dishes: gourmet, ethnic, comfort foods, dietary specific & low fat, and most dishes can be modified for Vegans/Vegetarians. I am always adding to my repertoire of cookbooks & recipes. Feel free to inquire about dinner parties, on-site catering, intimate dinners, & cooking classes.
